Privacy Policy

Tandeo is a website that lets you post videos to your own TikTok account from your browser. It is run by BaltaJmn, an independent developer based in Spain, who is the data controller. Contact: baltajmn@gmail.com.

What we access

When you log in with TikTok you approve these permissions on TikTok's own page:

• user.info.basic: your display name, username and avatar, shown on the posting page so you know which account you are posting to.
• video.publish: publishing the videos you choose, with the caption and settings you choose. Tandeo only publishes when you press Post.
• video.upload: sending the video you choose to your TikTok inbox as a draft, when you pick that option, so you can finish and post it in the TikTok app.

Before each post Tandeo also asks TikTok which privacy options and interaction settings your account allows, and the maximum video length, so the form only offers what your account can use.

What we store

Nothing on our servers. TikTok gives Tandeo an access token for your account. It is encrypted and kept only in a cookie in your browser. It expires within 24 hours, and when you press Log out Tandeo asks TikTok to revoke it and deletes the cookie.

Your video and caption pass through our server only while they are being sent to TikTok. They are not saved, copied or used for anything else. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

Who processes your data

• TikTok, which receives your video and settings to publish them, under TikTok's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare, which hosts Tandeo and handles the requests between your browser and TikTok.

We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.

Legal basis and your rights

We process this data to provide the service you ask for (performance of a contract, GDPR art. 6.1.b). Since we keep nothing after your session, there is usually nothing to access or delete. You can still write to us to exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

Removing access

Press Log out in Tandeo, or remove Tandeo at any time in the TikTok app: Settings and privacy, Security and permissions, Apps and services permissions.

Children

Tandeo is not intended for anyone under 13, or under the minimum age to use TikTok in their country.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and its date.
